The Abandoned Asylum
Here are some interesting scenes I photographed at an abandoned sanitarium.
From its stark white-walled structures,
its cafeteria full of old electronics, a rusted old heating plant, and countless
smashed windows, it was a haunting place to visit.
Ice crystals on the ground near the sanitarium.
A large chunk of ice "growing from" a stone wall.
Small pieces of ice reflecting sky and trees, as well as a "pencil" of ice containing plant buds and stems.
This and the next two photos show large amounts of ice "flowing" very slowly through the brick wall inside
a railroad tunnel.
